What we collect

When you subscribe to our newsletter or download a resource, we collect your email address. That's it. We don't ask for your name, phone number, or credit card unless you're making a purchase.

On some offers (like ProofKit) we ask for your name and email before showing you the checkout page. When you submit that form we also store the consent text you agreed to and the time you agreed, plus a few attribution IDs (Facebook click ID, Facebook browser ID, your PostHog distinct ID, and your IP and browser user agent) so we can match ad clicks to signups. We use this to send you a short follow-up sequence about that specific offer — nothing else. If you don't buy and don't unsubscribe, we delete your record 30 days after the last follow-up email.

How we use your data

Your email address is used to send you marketing automation ideas and occasional product updates. We never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their marketing purposes.

  • Kit (ConvertKit) — Email newsletter delivery and subscriber management
  • Supabase — Database and file storage for website content
  • Google Analytics — Anonymous website usage analytics (via Google Tag Manager)
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API — Ad attribution for purchases and lead signups. Email is hashed before it leaves our server.
  • PostHog — Product analytics and experiment assignment
  • Postmark — Transactional email delivery (purchase confirmations, magic links)
  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • Vercel — Website hosting and deployment

Cookies

We use cookies for analytics purposes. You can control cookie preferences through the cookie consent banner on the site. Essential cookies required for the website to function cannot be disabled.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. You can also request deletion of your data by contacting us. If you're in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, and port your data.
